Sylvia

Gwyneth Paltrow stars as Sylvia Plath in this biopic about the poet who killed herself in 1963 at the age of 30. The film focuses on Plath's stormy relationship with her husband, British poet Ted Hughes, a man often blamed for her emotional breakdown. Beginning in 1956, when Plath first met Hughes at a party, Sylvia follows the couple as they have children, move to the States and then back to England, and struggle with infidelity.
